FADING WAYS cooperates with CMM !
21.10.2005

"Fading Ways": the process by which modern human beings lose track of their dreams and who they originally wanted to be, surrendering to the vapid capitalist definitions of success centered around fame, money and power...

The Fading Ways record label, originally from Canada and now established in the UK, is a constant reminder that we need to stay true to ourselves and those we love. The indie label prides itself on its fair artist deals, which for the most part are 50/50 splits; and its Creative Commons licensed Share sampler series, which encourages file-sharing and legal non-commercial distribution via either home taping or peer-to-peer. Fading Ways releases do not carry DRM of any sort.

The label's roster is made up of artists with a strong musical tradition, ranging from singer/songwriter to hardcore passing through 70s flavoured rock n roll. Fading Ways' new partnership with Deaf & Dumb Music (Sweden) will see the labels' new releases in 2006 distributed in Germany via Soulfood, with PR duties being handled by CMM.

The first four releases in 2006 via Deaf & Dumb / Soulfood will be by Fading Ways recording artists The Pariahs (February 24th), Aceface (March), Red Light Rippers (April), and the Sinisters (May).
